Synopsis: This webinar will provide instruction to law enforcement officers in techniques of highway interdiction to be used in traffic stops of suspected drug couriers and users. It is the goal of this webinar to provide these techniques to lead to the safe discovery of illegal contraband and ultimately, a successful prosecution. The following topics will be covered:

1. Having the Proper Patrol Mind Set

2. Conducting the Complete Traffic Stop

3. The Roadside Interview

4. Obtaining Consent vs K9 Search

5. Conducting a Thorough Search
